In an Alternate Universe, Seth Rogen Starred on 'The Office'

The show's producers released a highlight reel showing now-famous actors who auditioned to play Dunder Mifflin employees

For nine seasons we watched -- and loved! -- Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and all the other actors who played paper-pushing co-workers on NBC's The Office. But Dunder Mifflin could have looked very different, as this video proves:

That's right: Seth Rogen, Adam Scott, Eric Stonestreet and Bob Odenkirk could have played our beloved Scranton residents. The show's producers released these auditions to celebrate the release of the ninth and final season of The Office coming out on DVD.

And while The Office has been considered one of the most perfectly casted shows, it does make you wonder how much the series may have changed if Rogen did land the role of Dwight, or if Odenkirk had played Michael. Then again, it’s hard to imagine anyone but Carell and Wilson trading "that's what she said" jokes!
