Karma is a bitch, people!

The sentencing in O.J. Simpson's trial is over and the guilty-as-sin slime ball has gotten 15 years in prison, with consecutive terms that could add another 2½ years to the total.

The ex-football star, who got off for the murders of his wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ronald Goldman in 1994, was found guilty of armed robbery and kidnapping in October.

The judge in the case insisted that she was not punishing O.J. for anything other that this last incident, and said that she respected the decision of the jury in the current case. "The problem is that I can't ignore that the behavior at the time ... was reckless ... A gun was used ... property was stolen ... and now I will sentence you," Judge Jackie Glass said.

And then, bam!, lots and lots of time in the Big House. It may be 14 years too late for some, like the loved ones of Nicole and Ron, but, if this isn't the best example of "better late than never," I don't know what is.
