The Mel Gibson saga continues to get more unsettling with each passing day (it felt like there wasn't a day this week when we didn't hear a new horrific tirade on tape). And now, to add to the drama, there is a photograph making its rounds on the Internet that is particularly disturbing.
The photo (which is featured exclusively on RadarOnline.com) shows Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 40, with two damaged front teeth, which she said happened after the Oscar winner punched her in the mouth during an incident at his Malibu mansion on Jan. 6 while she was holding their infant daughter Lucia. “It is a true and accurate photograph,” Grigorieva's spokesperson has confirmed to RadarOnline.
Gibson, 54, is under investigation for domestic violence, and the photograph (which was said to be taken 24 hours after the alleged attack) is in the hands of the the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Grigorieva also claims that the alleged physical altercation put her in "need of urgent medical assistance" and that she was left with a concussion. If the photo and recordings of Gibson prove not to be tampered with or edited, it could mean more trouble for the actor who, in one recorded conversation, tells Grigorieva "you f**king deserved it" after she mentions her broken teeth.
There is no word yet if Gibson will face criminal charges. Grigorieva's reps have denied that she intentionally leaked the picture and say Gibson's lawyers claims that the tapes are edited are "ridiculous."
