In new audio released by RadarOnline.com, Mel Gibson can be heard leaving "terrorizing" messages aimed at Oksana Grigorieva on the evening of their breakup in February, when she fled his Malibu home with their then-3-month-old daughter. Gibson reportedly left 30 messages in less than 12 hours. In one message lasting approximately two minutes, Gibson hurls the F-word 23 times.
The movie star berates and threatens Grigorieva on the calls, at one point demanding, "Answer the f***ing phone. F***ing b****!" In a 17-minute period of time during the wee hours of the morning, he left five messages.
Gibson seemed particularly angry that his ex, mother to an infant and a 12-year-old son, would need to rest. In one message, he taunts her: “Just making sure you’re awake, if you were trying to sleep. Because I am awake -- and you deserve to be.”
“Don’t ever sleep again,” he demands. “Don’t sleep as long as I don’t sleep.”
As in previous recorded tirades, Gibson references a tree-planting ceremony he held in honor of his baby daughter, during which the couple buried the infant's placenta. Gibson complains, "You were a sour faced b**** today...Do you know how much time and money went into that? Did you thank me? Did you even have a smile on your f***ing face?"
The disgraced actor/director is also heard calling her "weak," "disloyal," and a "f***ing ordinary c***." He even manages to get in a jab about Grigorieva's music career, telling her, "You make mistakes all over with live performances....Haven’t seen you not f*** it up yet."
Gibson's lawyers have argued that previous audio clips released online (and reportedly submitted as evidence to law enforcement officials investigating Gibson) have been edited. Grigorieva's camp says accusations about the authenticity of the recordings are false.
Meanwhile, in the bitter custody battle between the couple, Gibson, 54, has reportedly requested an unbiased "observer" to accompany him during visits with his 9-month-old daughter Lucia, according to People. A source claims that although an observer was not court-mandated, Gibson allegedly wanted a third party present so that "Oksana couldn't lie."
The observer, reportedly approved by Department of Children and Family Services, was present for a recent day when Gibson and his young daughter (who he has been accused of hitting during an alleged brawl with Grigorieva) spent time together at his orthodox Catholic church.
Gibson and his lawyers have argued that Grigorieva's abuse claims are untrue and that she's trying to extort the actor.
