Olivia Newton-John

Her role as good-girl Sandy in the 1978 box-office hit Grease earned her a Golden Globe nomination, and she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1981 when her single Physical exploded on Billboard charts. The Grammy-winning singer and actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, and since her recovery, Newton-John has become active in the fight against breast cancer. In 2005, she released Stronger Than Before, an album promoting awareness, and put in a few cameos as deliciously diva-esque version of herself on Glee earlier this year. The Australian star, 62, is raising funds to build the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre, scheduled to open in Melbourne in 2012.
