Apparently, 11 Percent of You Are Totally Naked (and Possibly Drunk) When Shopping Online

Holiday survey finds shopping from home often involves some booze and no clothes

After a long day toiling away at the office, stopping at the gym to knock out a few miles on the treadmill and hurrying home to get dinner on the table, it’s definitely time to shed those pesky clothes and get ready to … shop.

Online, of course.

Perhaps because heading to the mall in nothing but your birthday suit would likely end in a very awkward arrest, a significant number of shoppers are buying stuff via their computers in the buff, a new survey from PayPal finds.

According to CNBC, the company’s holiday shopping study finds 11 percent of us “like to shop completely naked.” Another 15 percent responded that they drink alcohol while shopping.

If you thought either naked shopping or drunk shopping sounded dangerous, put them together and someone is certain to get hurt.

We fall a little more in line with the 33 percent who tell PayPal they shop in their PJs. It’d take an awful lot of spiked eggnog to get us to lounge in the buff, but slipping into pajamas? We do that the minute we walk in the door.
