Oprah Winfrey has worn many hats during her historic run on daytime television, but who knew booty-call matchmaker was one of them? Winfrey unveiled a hilarious surprise when she welcomed Kirstie Alley, 59, back to her show (for an episode airing today) and brought up a 2009 interview the actress did with People magazine.
Alley told the interviewer at the time, "I haven't been having sex" and said she wanted "a booty call with Jamie Foxx. For real. I've always had a bit of a thing for him." Winfrey, 56, asked Alley if she really meant that, prompting the Fat Actress star to respond, "You know, me and about 3 million other women in the United States."
Cue the surprise guest! Via satellite, Jamie Foxx (who, let us not forget, starred in the 1997 comedy Booty Call) grinned from ear to ear. The Oscar-winning star of Ray, 42, told his admirer, "Kirstie...with Oprah's permission, I'll be your booty call." The flattered actress screamed and laughed, reveling in the bawdy banter. Later, she tweeted her gratitude: "THANK YOU OPRAH, you are soooo supportive and SOOOOOOO incredible!! ... I CHERISH YOU."
