Best Special Appearance

The queen of TV herself, Oprah Winfrey, introduced the Emmys with a speech filled with both humor and emotion. She joked that she's heard that TV has helped sell books (hello, Oprah's book club!) and talked about how it has inspired us, even at a time when we're faced with hardships. The talk show hostess with the mostess looked stunning in her red dress, and no one in the audience could take their eyes off her. Grey's Anatomy's Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh looked mesmerized by Ms. O. Then again, who isn't?
