Just call it quid pro quo -- as in the Kardashian family sat down with Oprah Winfrey for her OWN special, and now the queen of talk is returning the favor by allowing herself to appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
According to a source, Oprah and reality television's most famous family got along beautifully during Winfrey's interview shoot.
The media mogul, 58, enjoyed her time with the Kardashian clan so much that she agreed to appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. "Oprah signed the release!" the source says.
And it's not just speculation that Winfrey will pop up on the series; a rep for the legendary talk-show host confirmed to Us Weekly that she will indeed be on an upcoming episode of the hit E! show.
During her Q&A with Kardashians, Winfrey made it clear how impressed she was with Kim Kardashian's strength in the face of unrelenting public scrutiny after the collapse of her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.
"I've obviously made plenty of mistakes in my lifetime, but I'm not the type to sit and beat myself up over it," Kim said. "If a real lesson was learned, I'm so okay with having experienced that."
Winfrey replied: "That is so perfect I could weep."
