Oprah Winfrey has just scored the celebrity booking of the year.
The queen of talk has booked the first exclusive interview with Lindsay Lohan when the troubled actress finishes her rehab stay, reports Entertainment Weekly. But that is not all! Lilo has also agreed to take part in an eight-episode docu-series on Winfrey's OWN network. The actress' 90-day rehab stint is expected to wrap up on July 31; the reality show will then film in August and air in 2014.
So what can one expect to find in a Lindsay reality series? Well, most likely the plan is for it to resemble nothing like Living Lohan, the trainwreck of a reality show that her mother Dina Lohan and younger siblings took part in circa 2008. In case you missed out on that one, here is a little reminder:
Instead, this series will follow the troubled star as she tries to navigate a new life that doesn't involve drugs and alcohol or troubles with the law, while also watching as Lindsay tries to get her career back on track. No one will ever forget her most recent attempt with Liz & Dick; let's hope her next path goes in the right direction. Her next project to be released, The Canyons, isn't looking too promising.
The question now remains: Will people want to watch this much Lindsay? And the answer is: You betcha! Troubled stars in Hollywood are kind of like a car wreck that you can't look away from.
At the same time, we will be rooting for the redhead whom we always remember like this:
