Oprah Winfrey Is Still Hollywood's Highest-Paid Celebrity

Even though her iconic talk show is off the air, Oprah is still reeling in the cash. See who else made the list!

It's been a year since she gave up her self-titled talk show -- but for now, Oprah Winfrey, 58, hasn't run out of ways to mint money. On Monday, Forbes magazine awarded Winfrey the top spot on its lists of Hollywood's highest-paid women and highest-paid celebrity... for the fifth year in a row.

From May 2011 -- the month the The Oprah Winfrey Show left the air -- to May 2012, Winfrey banked $165 million. That's more than the next two women (both pop stars) on the list combined. Britney Spears, 30, earned $58 million, while Taylor Swift earned $57 million to take third place. At 22, Swift is the youngest woman to make the list.

Behind Swift, Rihanna and Ellen DeGeneres tied with each earning $53 million. Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga next tied, each earning $52 million. A three-way tie closed out the top ten, with supermodel Gisele Bündchen,  singer Katy Perry and TV personality Judge Judy, each earning $45 million (though through vastly different means).

Winfrey's earnings not only made her the richest woman in Hollywood but the most profitable celeb period! Her earnings put her atop Forbes' list of highest-paid celebrities, which the magazine also released on Monday.

Transformers director Michael Bay took second on the co-ed list by earning $160 million. Steven Spielberg took third with $130 million, producer Jerry Bruckheimer came in fourth with $115 million. Rapper Dr. Dre took fifth $110 million, thanks to the $100 million he earned from selling a share of his Dr. Dre Beats headphone line. Director-actor-producer Tyler Perry took sixth with $105 million.

Howard Stern was the seventh-highest-paid celebrity at number seven with $95 million. Author James Patterson took eighth with $94 million.  Star Wars director and producer George Lucas and Simon Cowell tied at ninth with $90 million, and conservative talk-radio host Glenn Beck rounded out the top 10 with $80 million.
