Oprah's Next Job? High School Teacher!

Oprah Winfrey will be heading to the high school she opened in South Africa to teach a class about her biggest life lessons

Oprah Winfrey is putting her new doctorate degree to good use, as the TV icon has announced that she will be taking on the task of teaching at her South African high school for girls in the fall.

In a class called "It's Life 101," Ms. Winfrey will be schooling the students on all the things she wishes someone told her when she was growing up.

"Should be fun since I love to teach. And they're like sponges," Oprah said. "Like 12th graders everywhere, this first class is both anxious and excited about going to college. Most will be the first in their family. So it's a very big deal for them, and they're feeling the pressure."

Oprah, who just returned home after spending some time at the school, says the students were feeling the heat from finals and just teenage life in general.

"They were all stressed for tests, but doing fine," Oprah said in an email to fans. "No major crisis this trip. I love being with them and talking to them about all things important. When I'm there I'm talking from the time I get up till I go to bed, about EVERYTHING teenage girls are going through. It's the same all over the world."

How amazing would it be to take a class taught by Oprah? If anyone seems to have figured out what's important in this life, it's certainly Ms. O. And we're pretty sure that classroom is going to be filled with one "Aha! moment" after another.
