Orange-Mango Smoothie

A little cinnamon is the secret ingredient to making mangos taste their best. The warm spice is perfectly suited to bringing out the tropical sweetness. If your mango is very ripe, add a shot of lemon or lime juice to play up the tanginess. If you want a thicker shake, use more ice cubes.

    1 cup orange juice 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 large ripe mango, peeled and cubed 1/2 cup ice cubes
    1/2 large banana

      Put the orange juice, mango, banana and cinnamon in the blender and puree until smooth.

      With the machine running, drop in the ice cubes one at a time until the drink is creamy.
