Orlando Bloom on Fatherhood: It's "Awesome"

Orlando Bloom is basking in the glow of fatherhood. The Pirates of the Caribbean star and wife Miranda Kerr welcomed son Flynn in January, and the actor can't help but gush about his new role in life.

Calling his daddy duties "awesome," Bloom, 34, says this is an experience like no other. 

"I love it," he told Hollyscoop at a press junket. "I hate that word but I love being a father; it’s changed everything in so many ways." 

Acknowledging that he could never do it alone, Bloom praised is Victoria's Secret model wife for her mommy know-how. "She's an amazing mother," he said of Kerr, 27.

And Kerr also seems to be loving her new life. 

"I feel so blessed and so lucky to just have a beautiful and healthy child," she recently told the site. "It’s just incredible."
