Here's a reality check for you. Alexis Neiers, the star of E!'s Pretty Wild, was sentenced to six months in jail Monday for breaking into Orlando Bloom's home. The Pirates of the Caribbean star was set to testify in the case, but at the last minute, the reality star pleaded no contest to felony burglary. In addition to the six months behind bars, Neiers, 18, will get three years probation.
"The weight of Bloom's [potential] testimony made us realize that the odds were stacked against us," Neiers's attorney, Jeffery Rubenstein, said. "We decided it was in Alexis's best interest for her to take responsibility for her limited role in this case and do her time. She's looking forward to moving on with her life."
Police say Neiers is part of a ring of teen burglars who hit a bunch of celeb homes over a yearlong period. Other victims included Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Rachel Bilson -- who, collectively, lost more than $3 million in luxury goods. Five other defendants are still facing charges.
