Oscar Nominations 2012: Who's Vying for Gold?

Best Actor

Everyone expected nominations for George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Jean Dujardin (and they got them) -- but two best-actor slots came as a bit of a surprise. Demian Bichir from A Better Life and Gary Oldman from the British spy thriller Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy edged out two actors who had felt more love this awards season: J. Edgar's Leonardo DiCaprio and Shame's daring, full-frontal-baring leading man Michael Fassbender.
