Scrub-A-Dub: Our favorite bath substitute for expectant moms

By now, you probably have official confirmation that you're expecting! If, after running though a long list of "it is safe?" questions with your doc, you're advised to stop taking hot baths, you'll need a backup for those long, luxurious soaks of your prepregnancy days. This total body scrub will remind you of the good old days, since you have to climb into the tub, and you'll emerge smelling fabulous!

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup jojoba oil
1/4 cup liquid soap

Place the sugar into a medium-size bowl. Add the honey, jojoba oil and liquid soap and mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Make sure your bathroom is warm. Dry the tub, line it with towels and lower yourself in. Then, gently massage the scrub all over your skin from neck to toes. (It's a bit too abrasive for your face.) After a full-body application, remove the towels from the tub and rinse the scrub from your skin with warm water. The jojoba oil will make the tub slippery, so be very careful when rinsing yourself off and when getting out.
