Why We Love It: Talk about a flight of fancy! The sight of these origami butterflies on your child's wall is nothing short of magical. Plus, she’ll love helping to pick the colors, folding them (if she's old enough) and creating the migratory pattern.
What You'll Need: At least 25 sheets of square scrapbook and origami paper in a variety of patterns and thumbtacks.
How to DIY: Fold your papers into butterflies using a printable tutorial found here. Make enough to look impressive in the space you have. We suggest anywhere from 25 to 50 -- or more! Attach to the wall with thumbtacks in an interesting pattern. (Keep in mind that thumbtacks can be a choking hazard, so this project is best for an older girl's room!)
