The Passing of Elizabeth Edwards

It was as if women across the country let out a collective gasp when news broke that Elizabeth Edwards, the woman who taught us so much about resilience (also the title of her memoir), lost her battle with cancer at the age of 61. The grace she displayed when her cancer returned was trumped only by the grace she showed as the world learned her husband John Edwards, a former presidential candidate, had lied to her and all of us about his illegitimate daughter. Said iVillager egd3blessed, "Her grace, courage and devotion to her children (are) to be admired, RIP."
