Not since the O.J. Simpson's- white Bronco chase in 1994 have a I seen such a ridiculous swarm of paparazzi as those who camped outside Paris's house and waited for her to get in the cop car that would take her to the courthouse. After rumors that she would phone-in for the hearing and that the sheriff's department refused to pick her up, she finally was escorted by the po-po to see the judge.
I was out to lunch watching this media frenzy on MSNBC, and literally every eye in the place was glued to the screen. Even those who were shouting they couldn't believe this was "breaking news" on MSNBC couldn't tear themselves away. Do you think Paris's trip to court qualifies as breaking news. I sure do! It's the story the whole world is talking about! No offense to the Joint Chiefs Chairman who announced he was retiring or anything... Stay tuned for more breaking Paris news and the injury count of the pack of paparazzi!
