On NBC's Parenthood (airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m.), both Erika Christensen and Monica Potter's characters have relatively happy marriages. And yet both actresses think affairs may be in order. "I'm really, really happy to be married and it's also something I haven't explored as an actor much and I like that a lot. Although, I think maybe an affair will have to happen at some point," Christensen tells iVillage exclusively. "Maybe it's because I'm single in real life that I have more of that view point of 'Let's see what's out there.'"
Though Potter jokes that maybe all the ladies on the show will have affairs, she says, "I like my TV husband. I like my real husband too!" That said, don't expect her to give her costar Dax Shepard -- who's engaged in real life to Kristen Bell -- any marriage advice. "See I was married once before and now I'm remarried. I'm just trying it again and seeing how it goes!"
And Potter hopes Shepard won't be her only costar getting hitched -- she wants to make sure that Christensen walks down the aisle too. "I want to be married," Christensen says, to which Potter responds, "You are going to be. Damn it!"
