Each week, we pick one woman who's done something to make us proud. This week, we're loving Patricia Heaton for being such a fun, relatable celeb mom -- and for tackling the challenge of raising four boys with such a great sense of humor!
The star of the CBS sitcom The Middle opened up to iVillage about the joys -- and pitfalls -- of being the only woman in a house full of men. She even admitted that it can be a struggle just to get her teenagers to bathe: "They literally come up to me and say, 'Do I need to shower?' And then I have to smell their armpits," she said.
When we asked the 52-year-old mom what her brood has planned for Mother's Day, she admitted that there aren't exciting plans afoot. "Nobody makes a big deal out of it," she said. (Although, she did mentioned that her loving boys make sure to give her hugs "every single day.")
Well, we think Heaton is one hard-working mom who deserves a big dose of appreciation. Happy Mother's Day!
