When Paul Giamatti won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie, he made a mistake that could cause him some trouble at home. As he said he wanted to thank his wife, the camera panned to his wife in the audience. And that's where Paul messed up. He then said he wasn't talking about his real wife, but his fake wife, referring to Laura Linney, who played Abigail Adams opposite him in John Adams. Funny, yes, except that Paul never ended up thanking his actual wife. Whoops!
