Get ready for another A-list wedding! Sir Paul McCartney is set to marry fiancée Nancy Shevell this weekend at his farmhouse in the English countryside, Us reports.
The former Beatle, 69, and the New York businesswoman, 55, confirmed their engagement in May. McCartney proposed with a vintage Cartier diamond ring reportedly worth more than $650,000. Although early reports speculated that the couple would marry in the Hamptons, where they met and socialized with their then-spouses more than 20 years ago, a source tells Us that they will say their "I dos" across the pond.
"It will be a small, intimate wedding," the source says. "It's going to be very elegant and classic."
The the ceremony will likely include McCartney's five children -- three with first wife Linda McCartney, who died in 1998, and a young daughter from his short-lived second marriage to Heather Mills, whom he officially divorced in 2008. Shevell, who helps run her family's multi-million-dollar transportation company, also has a son from her first marriage to New York attorney Bruce Blakeman.
After their wedding weekend in England, the newlyweds plan to go back to the Big Apple to celebrate in Shevell's hometown, the source added. "They are having a big party in New York to celebrate later on."
Here's hoping the third time's the charm for Paul!
