Paula Abdul proved that she still has it!

The ex-American Idol judge was the star of Thursday's VH1 Divas, highlighted by mocking her Idol replacement Ellen Degeneres.

Sporting a blonde wig and wearing the "Ellen" (white blouse, black blazer, black Converse Chuck Taylor’s), Abdul danced down the aisle, doing her best impression of Degeneres.

When she finally reached the stage, Abdul told the audience at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, "Why you all staring at me? Can't a girl try out a new job? All kidding aside, nothing but love, Ellen. I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on the new gig! And you got to call me if you have any Simon [Cowell] problems, because I know him best."

Abdul has officially fired the first shot in what could turn into a playful feud with Degeneres. It was all in good fun but let's see how Ellen responds.

Luckily, Abdul is used to getting made fun of and one of the comedians who takes the most jabs is Kathy Griffin. Griffin and Abdul introduced Kelly Clarkson, but not before Abdul said the comedian has a "firecrotch."

Abdul opened the show with a medley of songs including hits "Opposites Attract" (complete with MC Skat Kat on screen in the background), "Straight Up" and "Forever Your Girl," proving that her performing skills aren't lacking.

Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks and Adele also performed and the show featured special appearances from Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper and Martina McBride.
