|8 skinned chicken breast halves||1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper|
|2 tablespoons olive oil||1 tablespoon white vinegar|
|2 tablespoons soy sauce||1/2 teaspoon allspice|
|2 tablespoons honey||1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper|
|1/2 teaspoon thyme||2 cups sliced mushrooms|
|1/2 teaspoon paprika|
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place chicken in a shallow casserole. Combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, thyme, paprika, cayenne pepper, vinegar, allspice, and pepper and pour over chicken. Marinate in refrigerator for about 1 hour. Bake chicken for 30 to 45 minutes or until cooked through. Surround chicken with sliced mushrooms, spoon the sauce over them, and bake for 5 minutes more.
For grilling: Remove breasts from marinade and grill until cooked through, basting periodically with marinade. Add mushrooms to the marinade and simmer for 5 minutes. Spoon over the grilled chicken breasts.
