Fantastic, maple-leaf shaped, purple foliage is the main feature here. Produces the showiest foliage in full sun, but tolerates some shade. Locate in rich, evenly moist soil. This variety was discovered at Kew Gardens in England by a curator there, but the species originated in the western United States.
