I was so angry and upset about my pets being ill and dying. I had nowhere to turn, till I found all these wonderful people here at the Pet Bereavement board. I can come here and tell people how I feel; I can cry and I know that they know exactly what I'm crying about. My animals are like my babies and I treat them as such. Other members here at Pet Bereavement feel the same. It's good to belong where you're understood, not put down for your grieving.
You can always grieve alone, but why should you when there are so many here who share the same experiences and can help you with yours. Best of all, we can talk about the good times and the bad and no one ignores us. Pet Bereavement is a sanity saver.

When I found this board I knew I wasn't alone! There was someone to talk to that knew exactly how I felt! I honestly don't know where I'd be today if I hadn't found this board. Tragedies happened rapidly in my life after losing my precious pet and thankfully, I now know where I can go to find listening hearts.
