I seriously can't believe how much hoopla is being made over Jessica Simpson's weight gain. It's not like she hasn't ever put on a couple of pounds before. She's just one of those people who goes up and down a lot -- gasp! -- like an actual real human being!
Anyway, Jess' brother-in-law, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz joined wife Ashlee Simpson in expressing his distaste for the scrutiny of Jessica's bod.
"I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general, and I think it's a bummer," Ash's hubby told Extra from the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash in Tampa, Florida Thursday, about the controversy. "It's bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows, and that's a bummer."
"Real beauty is on the inside, man."
