Physical Changes: Eleventh Grade

This year is the beginning of the end of dramatic physical changes: If she was a late bloomer, she has probably just caught up to her peers. Otherwise, your teenager's body is almost completely developed -- technically. You've seen pictures of yourself when you were 16 or 17, and you certainly don't look like an adult in the same way you did once you were 25. Nevertheless, all of the basic development work is done.

She may still be prone to breakouts of acne; if these persist, make sure she sees a dermatologist. There's no reason for her to suffer through it when there are many helpful medications currently available and commonly covered under medical insurance.
