If you want proof Pink is one tough mama, look no further than this photo she posted on Twitter of herself on a hospital bed. In what's becoming a trend of celebrities snapping pictures of themselves in the hospital, the pop star's addition on Thursday is arguably the cheeriest of the lot.
So what exactly is wrong the Grammy winner? Nothing too serious -- she (like millions of other Americans) caught the stomach flu and checked in to the hospital for treatment.
Clad in her hospital gown, a rockin' white beanie and a teddy-bear blanket, Pink had no problems smiling as she drank presumably water or juice from a standard cafeteria-issued cup and received IV medication.
"Maybe it's cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life- but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV- and I'm a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn't," Pink posted with her Instagram photo.
Six hours and scores of well wishes later, Pink went back on Twitter to clarify a point about her treatment: "Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don't give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It's a gift."
Ulcers on top of the stomach flu -- ouch! It's unclear whether the 32-year-old singer has been released from the hospital, but we can assume she wants to be out in time to celebrate her baby girl Willow Sage's first birthday on Saturday.
