Pink Reveals How She Lost 55 Pounds After Giving Birth

The singer took her time to lose the baby weight -- but now she says she's in the best shape of her life

When Pink was pregnant with baby Willow, she didn't look like a stick-thin celebrity with a basketball under her shirt; she looked like most of us do when we're several months along. Likewise, after she gave birth, she wasn't afraid to step out in public with a little bit of a belly.

But now, a healthy 16 months after giving birth, she's in spectacular shape -- and she's flaunting it on the cover of Shape magazine!

The singer, who has dropped 55 pounds since Willow's birth, admits that she didn't have the healthiest prenatal diet. "I ate a lot of cheesecake during my pregnancy," she tells the magazine. "Also anything sour—Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, key lime pie..."

In the interest of "being kind" to her body (what a novel idea!), Pink decided to hold off for a few months before trying to flatten her abs. But once she committed to a weight-loss plan, she really committed, hiring fitness-world superstars Jillian Michaels and Jeannette Jennings to whip her into shape.

"They both kicked my butt more than any other person I've ever worked out with," says Pink, who believes she is currently in the best shape of her life.

It's pretty refreshing that Pink didn't feel compelled to squeeze into a bikini six months after giving birth. "I wasn't in a race," she told People last month. "I was really kind to myself because I was actually really impressed with the fact that I just had a baby, like 'I made a human!'"

Wow -- a celebrity mom who's paying more attention to her newborn baby than to her dress size? Here's hoping she starts a trend!
