Planting

Soil: Mix potting soil with sand and a small amount of lime.
Seedlings: Always check that your seed packets have not expired to ensure the best quality. Remember to buy extra since sometimes only a small amount of the seeds you plant will actually flourish.
What to Grow: Herbs that thrive indoors are basil, mint, rosemary, oregano, thyme, sage, dill, chives, parsley, chervil, lemongrass, chamomile and lavender. These herbs are hardy, resistant to disease and can be used in variety of recipes.
