POLL: Is Willow Smith's New "21st Century Girl" Video Another Hit?

The pint-sized pop star follows up "Whip My Hair" with a futuristic fantasy clip. Will it be another hit for the 10-year-old?

Willow Smith has released an epic new video for "21st Century Girl," her much-anticipated follow-up to "Whip My Hair." The video is full of futuristic fantasy imagery and pint-sized feminism, with a guest appearance by acting legend Cicely Tyson. Watch it below!

Okay, so we're not really sure what's happening at the beginning there -- maybe the old lady is a magical shaman who conjures Willow to create the city of the future? Using music? Well, whatever her intentions, 10-year-old Smith comes out of the sand wearing one of her trademark kiddie-punk-couture outfits and starts rocking a dance song. There's a sequence where Willow runs with wolves, which we think is a clue to the video's meaning: if you think back to college, you may remember a classic feminist book called Women Who Run with the Wolves, about how women need to reclaim their inner strength and wildness.

At the end, Smith and her army of confident tween girls pull a new city from the desert sand with their own hands -- and Smith, in a T-shirt that says "Boys Need Training," passes the magic on to the next generation (represented by an adorable toddler).

Pretty cool, right? Or is it just confusing? And does it measure up to "Whip My Hair?" Vote and let us know what you think!
