And you thought your shoes would be the only thing that fit post-baby! “It’s common for feet to grow a half size during pregnancy -- and stay that way,” says Jane Andersen, DPM, a podiatrist in Chapel Hill, N.C. You can thank (or curse) ligament-relaxing hormones that allow baby to pass through your pelvis; they also relax 'em in your feet. While you can’t prevent the great foot expansion, retail therapy helps! (So does getting your favorite shoes stretched at the cobbler.)
