It's mid-Fashion Week here in New York and the city is literally bursting at the seams with fashion types (think models, designers, celebrities, bloggers and fashionistas trying to sneak into shows). The hoopla kicked off last week and the coolest thing we've seen so far is the opening to designer Prabal Gurung's show on Saturday.
Attendees had to walk through a Post Office to get to an abandoned warehouse space where the show was held. The runway itself was set amidst flashing neon lights and mirrors and behind what appeared to be plastic sheeting. Oh, and Gurung's scent was being pumped into the room. That's right, a scented runway! The whole thing was seizure-inducing... but in a good way?
We'll let you see for yourself in the below Instagram videos captured by Mandana Yani, vice president of Rachel Zoe Inc., and Lucky Magazine.
Clearly Gurung brought it this season -- which means we can't wait to see what Marc Jacobs has in store later this week!
