Pregnancy Test: Can Yeast Infection Affect the Results?

I took two pregnancy tests today and both came up positive. Could the yeast infection I discovered yesterday cause it to come up positive or can my husband and I start to celebrate!

Yeast infections have not been known to cause positive pregnancy tests, so I suppose congratulations are in order. False positives are possible -- not as common as false negatives -- but you should see a provider right away just to be sure.

Remember to start a folic acid supplement and get on a super good diet right away.
