Is a Premenstrual-Like Discharge Normal During Pregnancy?

I had a positive pregnancy test. However, a lot of “stuff” similar to what usually gets discharged from my vagina before my period is appearing now. Is this normal?

Question:

A lot of women get concerned during the first few months of pregnancy because they feel premenstrual (both physically and emotionally) around the time their periods would be due. This is quite normal and can last well into the pregnancy. As to the discharge, there is a normal (odorless, painless) vaginal discharge that continues all the way through pregnancy. In fact, it tends to get heavier toward the end of pregnancy. If you are concerned about it, you should run it by your caregiver just to rule out infection.
