Preschool toilet training dilemma

My child will be three years old this summer. I can not find a daycare program or preschool that will except him unless he is fully potty trained. I know my son is ready for preschool. He enjoys interactions with other children and is good at sharing. Should I just wait until he is potty trained or send him to daycare?

It is very difficult and really counter-productive to try to toilet train a child who isn't ready. Most children are not ready neurologically or physically until they are almost three years old. So, to force a child to use the toilet may do more harm than good.

It would seem wiser to keep him home, rather than force him to use the potty. While he could benefit from being with other children, he won't have the additional stress of trying to do something he's not ready to do.
