Celebs React to President Obama's Victory on Twitter!

From Lady Gaga to Justin Bieber, Hollywood's hottest stars lit up the Twitterverse with their post-election excitement

President Barack Obama won re-election late last night after a hotly contested campaign against Republican candidate Mitt Romney. The President, 51, defeated Romney in the Electoral College -- including key battleground states such as Ohio, Iowa, Virginia and Pennsylvania -- and received a narrow victory in the popular vote.  

Celebrities were among the hordes of Americans celebrating in social media after the re-election victory. Lady Gaga was so excited that she shared a photo of her partying with her pals after the news. "We just couldn't be happier my goodness, the joy when freedom prevail," the Mother Monster wrote.

Here is a sampling of what more famous Obama supporters (and one notable detractor) had to say about his re-election:

Eva Longoria: "Me and my friends celebrating! I'm on tears! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!"

Denzel Washington: Obama won Massachusetts the state where Romney was Governor. If they didn't vote for him, that should tell you something. #Swerve
