There's one less familiar face buzzing around Lindsay Lohan's current place of residence, as Pretty Wild star -- and celebrity burglar -- Alexis Neiers was released from the L.A. County Jail Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. on Saturday.
After serving less than two months of her six-month sentence she obtained for a 2009 robbery that took place at the home of Orlando Bloom, the E! reality star was set free -- and says her experience in the slammer has had profound effects.
"I've had time to reflect on my life and the choices that led me to this experience, left alone in my cell 23 hours a day and having everything stripped away but the bare essentials," Neiers said in a statement. "I did a lot of soul searching. I feel very humbled and see my life in a way that I have come to be very grateful for."
The reality star received three years felony probation and must pay a not-yet-determined amount of money in restitution. She maintains her innocence in the famous "burglary bunch" robberies of last year, that also hit the homes of Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, and even Lohan!
"I am now a convicted felon -- convicted of a crime that I did not commit," she says. "However, it gives me an excellent opportunity to reach out to teens and help them grasp the possible consequences of drinking and partying with people you assume are safe and with whom you consider friends. The possible consequences are NOT worth it."
