Retailers had a major price war last holiday season, as popular stores advertised price-matching opportunities. Last year, Sears went so far as to knock an additional 10% off the competitor's best price. And this year, the competition is just as fierce with Target announcing they’ll be matching online prices, which tend to be less than their brick and mortar competition.
