The engagement of Prince William to Kate Middleton might have killed a lot of ladies' hopes of being the future Queen of England, but little brother Harry's stag status has kept aspiring princesses' dreams alive. However, the supposedly single 26-year-old royal was spotted getting cozy with his on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy Saturday night, leading many to speculate that this coveted bachelor might not be as unattached as we thought!
British tabloid The Sun reports that the redheaded prince and his blonde lady friend quietly slinked out of an exclusive London club, then covertly climbed into the trunk -- yes, the trunk! -- of a chauffeur-driven Jaguar at 4:00 a.m. A source claims that the "boot" (that's British for "trunk") was popped open before Harry and Chelsy emerged from the club, and security staff tried to shield the two from view as they hopped in.
"Neither seemed the worse for the wear for (drinking too much) when they climbed in and acted as if it was a normal thing," the source said. Sounds a bit strange to us, especially since luggage had to be moved from the trunk to the back seat to make room for the pair -- but, hey, if Harry prefers the boot to a regular seat, that's his prerogative.
Harry and Chelsy have been romantically linked for more than five years now, and despite an official split in November 2009, they've been seen together numerous times since then. Saturday's secretive rendezvous is fueling the rumors that the two have rekindled their romance.
In fact, according to The Sun, Harry reportedly gave Chelsa, 25, a £1000 diamond bracelet for Christmas and has invited her to be his date for William and Kate's April wedding. The palace has yet to confirm the truth to these rumors -- so ladies, don't hang up those tiaras just yet!
