Prince Jackson: "I'm Really Angry" About My Family's "Lies"

Michael Jackson's son finally tweeted about his recent family drama, but then deletes all posts relating to the feud after saying that "these tweets are not our own"

The return of Katherine Jackson hasn't dampened the Jackson family feud, which seems to be getting more heated every day. The latest Jackson to speak out is Michael's oldest child, 15-year-old Prince.

Unlike his little sister Paris, 14, Prince (real name: Michael Jackson Jr.) has refrained from commenting about his grandmother Katherine's recent disappearance and reappearance at the hands of Michael's siblings. But on Thursday, the King of Pop's son posted a long statement on Twitter -- then erased it, after the odd final statement, "These tweets our not our own." (This tweet has also since been deleted, by the way). What is going on over there?

"I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day," Prince wrote on Thursday, before deleting his tweets.

"I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side," he explained. "As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways.

"Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to," Prince continued. "I'm really angry and hurt."

The teenager then posted a screen capture of a text message chat between himself and several family members, including his aunts Rebbie and Janet Jackson.

"The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses," Prince explained. "For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother."

The image shows a text message from Prince, dated July 23, in which he and his siblings "DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!" In the reply (which she allegedly didn't realize Prince could see), Janet writes, "Don't let them pls."

Prince signed off his message with his real name, along with the quote: "If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth."

Hours later, Prince posted that strange qualifying message ("these tweets our not our own"), then deleted all previous tweets about his family. Was his statement written by somebody else? What about the screencap? It's all very mysterious.

At this point, only the Jackson family members themselves know what's happening. It seems obvious that it has something to do with Michael's will and Katherine's guardianship, which are both being contested by Janet, Rebbie, Randy and Jermaine Jackson. Reportedly, those siblings tried to remove Michael's three children from their home while Katherine was away. (They failed, and the ensuing scuffle was caught on tape.) With Katherine, 82, failing to communicate with her grandchildren for 10 days, the kids' cousin TJ Jackson (son of Michael's brother Tito) was appointed their temporary legal guardian in her place. In her statement to the press on Thursday, Katherine said she was dismayed by this decision.

"I am devastated that while I've been away my grandchildren have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home," the family matriarch told ABC News. "There are rumors going around about me that I have been kidnapped. I am here today to let everybody to know that I am good and fine. My children would never do anything to me like that."

In conclusion, something very weird is going on with the Jackson family. But then, when has that not been true?
