Most couples send out modest save-the-date cards about impending wedding plans. Than again, most couples aren't Prince William and his British gal pal Kate Middleton. The Daily Beast is reporting that William, 27, and Middleton, 28, are likely going to be announcing their royal engagement this summer.
A source within the royal circle told Daily Beast's Tina Brown "that two days in June have been mysteriously blocked out on the palace diaries, June 3 and 4. They suggest this is a likely date for the engagement announcement."
If William and his potential princess choose to follow with royal tradition, they will likely wed in November. Of course, as the Telegraph noted a few weeks ago, they could also be holding off until 2012 to " to coincide with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee."
The timing could not be more perfect, if the rumors prove true about the royal engagement, as Middleton's parents have just launced launched a line of accessories for brides on a budget. Though we very much doubt a future princess falls into that demographic!
The pair have been dating since 2003 (they briefly split in 2007), and met when they were both students at Scotland's University of St. Andrews.
