Many parents we know say they wanted to have the same number of kids that they had in their own family growing up. So we shouldn't be too surprised that Prince William revealed that he'd like to have two kids one day with wife Kate Middleton (now Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.)
People reports the British royal, visiting Singapore, shared this info with a fan: "Someone asked him how many children he would like to have and he said he was thinking about having two," 17-year-old Corine Ackermann told People.
It makes sense -- his mom, Princess Diana, had two boys, after all. However, we're just a tad disappointed since, really, how cute would those two be with a five little princes and princesses running around? Kate has two siblings -- Pippa and James -- so maybe she's thinking three?
Of course, you never know what's going to happen. We always thought we'd have three kids, but ended up being just fine with two. And then there are our friends who thought two would be perfect, and a daughter, twins and an oops! pregnancy later, they're now the proud parents of four. And while we couldn't help but notice Kate had water in her wine glass earlier today, we're not in a rush to see what happens -- the Duchess already has enough baby pressure on her!
