It's prom night for Project Runway! What a fun episode. With each week, the competition is getting tougher and the stakes are going of who will be named winner of Project Runway.
For this week's challenge, the designers helped their New Jersey student models prepare and get ready for their prom night. As we all know, prom night for high school girls is one of the most important nights in her life, says Heidi.
Here's the catch: the student models had a little extra baggage; their mothers.
Now with tons of pressure on the designers to make everything look perfect, things were getting steamy in the design room.
Christian had some tiffs with his own client, and found it so difficult to work with her that he felt the need to tell the judges. He sure did meet his match with this teenage wanna-be designer.
Calling prom “horrible and tacky and gross,” Christian didn’t have many nice things to say about this challenge, or his challenger after she snatched the pencil from his fingers in order to show him what her vision was.
Rami, who usually designs excellently, failed to impress the judges with his dress.
It suited more of a “35-year-old woman in New York going out to dinner,” than a high-school prom girl, according to Kors.
Sweet P’s dress was very well done, and so was Victorya’s.
Christian, Mr. Ego, ended up in the bottom alongside Kevin, who’s red dress was too mature for his model. Victorya’s short blue sheath was “most-appropriate,” as well as the winner for the evening.
