'Project Runway' Recap: Around the World in Outfits

The competition is getting tougher with only seven designers left... and I'm rooting for Christopher, Carol Hannah and Logan (because he's so dang cute). The designers are sent to Rodeo Drive to find out about their latest challenge—they get thrown into Michael Kors' West Coast flagship. The store is full of gorgeousness from snakeskin to leather, from earth tones to splashes of color.

Michael Kors and Tim Gunn give them the task of being inspired by a city. Carol Hannah picks first: Palm Beach (could be a lame choice). Nicolas picks Greece (and I'm so excited for him). Althea shoots for St. Tropez (looking forward to what she's going to come up with). Gordana goes for New York (which could pose a bit of a challenge). Irina takes Aspen (because she "specializes in outerwear"—her words, not mine; I still think she's a b****. Christopher takes Santa Fe (what will that look like, I wonder). Logan lands Hollywood (and he didn't seem too happy about it).

In the workroom, Carol Hannah struggles because she doesn't think she has enough fabric. Nicolas thinks his look can go either way—really good or really bad. Irina is still being jerky and complains about the other designers' joking around and says their clothes are not fab (kill joy, I say). She's not there to make friends, she doesn't beat around the bush, but does she have to be so nasty? I don't get it!

When Tim Gunn checks in with the designers, he tells Althea to watch the proportions, tells Christopher to not make it all about the belt, tells Logan he needs to wow everybody among other things, and tells Irina she needs to be mindful of proportions. Nicolas thinks her outfit is borderline costume—and now my fingers are crossed that she falters.

Before leaving the workroom for the night, Christopher realizes that he has made a dress that looked "Little House on the Prairie," so he goes in fix-it mode, cutting inches of the dress to remedy the ugliness. Nicolas also has a little freak-out the night before about his garment. The day of the runway show, almost all of the designers silently panic equally. Althea, on the other hand, is just having a good old time with her St. Tropez outfit, saying to herself, "Why hasn't anyone made this before?" (Gotta love that attitude!)

The judges hated Nicolas' "Greece" outfit—even worse, Michael Kors thinks Nicolas created a look for Grease, the movie, instead. Heidi Klum and Michael Kors liked Gordana's, Irina's and Carol Hannah's. Logan didn't manage to style his outfit and Nina had an issue with it. Heidi disagrees and says she didn't mind the outfit. In the end, it was Nicolas who had to leave. His (weird) gray pants weren't good enough to keep him around.

The Most Memorable Looks: Logan's hipster outfit (which I'd totally wear), Althea's St. Tropez number (sooo adorable), Carol Hannah's Palm Beach maxi dress (so flattering, I want it), Christopher's mini dress with fabulous belt (chic, I love it), Irina's (ugly) ski bunny mess (but the judges liked it, ugh)

Who Won: Irina (ugh)

Who Might Go Next Episode: Logan is on thin ice with sort-of- boring looks
