Hip-hop star Drake is finally talking about his brief fling with Rihanna, and it doesn't seem like he has good memories of their time together.
The duo began dating last year after Rihanna's domestic violence altercation with Chris Brown. She reportedly contacted the former Degrassi star to write a song for her new album and the two hit off. They began seeing each other regularly, though they never publicly confirmed their relationship.
Looking back, Drake, 23, says he thinks he was used by the pop star to get over her heartache.
"I was a pawn," Drake was quoted saying in a New York Times article. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear...I was like, wow, this feels terrible."
Drake is currently single and mingling, while Rihanna seems blissfully happy with Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp, who, she recently said, keeps her "sane".
