Every morning I slick my hair back with extra-hold gel and sweep it up into a tightly pulled-back bun, because my hair is just as unpredictable as the weather. I know I’m not alone in my frustrations with a dry, unmanageable mane—but I never really expected to find a hair twin in Hollywood. Parks and Recreation’s Rashida Jones, however, is owning up to the very same issues and having a little fun in the process.
In a series of videos that made me love her even more than I already did, the funny-lady shows off her hair’s own worst-case scenario (we’re talking full-on frizz, here!) for Dove’s “Make Friends With Your Hair” campaign. And she wants you to reveal your untamed side, too. Click here to take a look, then get out your camera and start shooting—you might just find yourself as the campaign’s next star.
This is one rare situation where bad hair can make you a total winner, so get creative with a 90-second-or-less video that exposes your coif’s ‘other personality’. Three participants will win hair transformations at the expert hands of Dove celebrity stylist, Mark Townsend. Then it’s up to America to vote at dove.com and Facebook and decide which of the three will star in her very own Dove Hair Care commercial.
